Chen Cheng-po composed a series of watercolor sketches of female nudes during his stay in Shanghai. In this work, the model's hands and legs are transformed into fishtails. The same expression can be seen in other watercolor sketches and sketch paintings by Chen Cheng-po. This painting bears the circular red seal of Chen Cheng-po, but the creation date is unknown.
