Chen Cheng-po composed a series of watercolor sketches of female nudes during his stay in Shanghai. This work is a sketch showing three nude female models in the same posture, from the same point of view. This is Chen’s only known watercolor sketch featuring three female nudes. There is a staple mark on the top of the work. The lower right corner is written "1932.2.14".
